$790 / Connecting the Community: Funds one Parent Night, where parents and caregivers can connect, share a meal, learn about resources in the community and have a facilitated discussion on important and timely topics such as positive discipline, online and physical safety, and elementary school transition. Monthly Parent Nights are a critical component of strengthening the bond between our families that flourish both inside and outside of the classroom.
Covers costs like: activities, guest speakers, staff and planning, and a meal for all attendees.

$1,535 / Bridge the Connection At Home: Funds one year of home visiting for a family. 100% of Family Connections participants receive home visitation services, as compared to a statewide average of only 1.4% of families who may benefit from these services receive home visitation services. Our holistic support services include assessments, family support planning, resource referrals, and parenting education and support.

$3,420 / Expand Positive Parenting: Funds a group of 8 parents who want to participate in the internationally acclaimed Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). As the only organization in San Mateo County providing Triple P Parenting, Family Connections will equip parents with the skills and confidence they need to manage their children’s behavior, prevent problems and build strong, healthy parent-child relationships. Your gift allows us to train more staff and provide one of the most effective evidence-based parenting programs in the world to more families throughout San Mateo County.
Covers costs like: training and curriculum for staff, program and workshop materials, rent for facilities, and outreach materials.

$5,950 / Empower Early Learning Teachers: Provide our Early Learning Teachers with innovative curriculum and ongoing professional development to deepen their knowledge of early learning and child development. Teacher shortages have reached crisis proportions and California has been hit the hardest with 80% of districts experiencing shortages. Your gift allows us to offer our teachers competitive pay, a healthy and sustainable work environment, and continued investment in their professional growth, which we know will benefit the families we serve immensely.
Covers costs like: teacher training and time, classroom supplies, professional growth opportunities.

$7,800 / Bridge Academic Success: Funds participation for our families in our Summer Program. Students engage STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), literacy, language arts, tutoring, social/emotional development and wellness. Our summer program is infused with enrichment activities to bridge the summer gap when achievement delays and learning loss are at their highest. We see that this summer program helps our school aged children prepare for the new school year and prevents learning loss.
Covers costs like: curriculum development, classroom rent and supply costs, family engagement activities, and community outings.
